YSL Mascara Vinyl- I'm the Trouble
I love this mascara...it's definitely pigmented and the best way to get true color payoff is by using a primer underneath it. I use a primer before applying bright blue shade in I'm the Trouble and I get the most bold pop of blue. It's still very wearable and it's a fun way to get a pop of color without resorting to shadow. Another great feature is that this mascara does not run or smudge. I will definitely be adding some additional colors to my collection!

Supergoop Rosemary Setting Spray
I am one of those people where I am overly conscious of the SPF on my face. As I have gotten older my skin has become more sensitive and sun damage is more apperant. If I am out in the sun long enough I will see new frekles and larger sun spots on my face. Due to driving and having the sun hit the left side of my face I have hyper pigmentation and that is my biggest concern. I was looking for something that I can keep my in car and that would help prevent further damage.

I recently saw that Supergoop not only made a mist with SPF 50 PA++ but was funcitoned as a setting spray. I quickly purchased it and I was pleasantly surprised. This product is amazing because after working an 8 hour shift and not touching my makeup up I was looking a bit oily. As soon as the mist hit my face I was instantly matte and the mist smells fresh (rosemary) and it dries instantly. I love that this mist is light and does not leave splotches on my face after spraying myself. I have tried other sprays and if the mist is just a little too strong you will see where the mist landed on your face. I highly recommend this to anyone who is oily, l OR someone that is looking for an SPF refresher.
My friend Prissy had talked about the Orly Expix Flexible color nail polish and had given it great reviews. I am currently testing it out and I have to say so far I am impressed. I am currently on day 3 and by this time my nails would look dull, have some chipping and would FORCE me to change my polish. I am on day 3 of this nail polish today (call my agent) and it is still very shiny, in tact and I see no chipping. It is definitely a great nail polish and I am very excited that it actually works. I have tried the Sally Hansen gel formula and I was super disappointed in it and thought that the Orly polish would be the same experience. I am pleased to say that this formula is going strong!
You Teal my Heart...
This summer it was clear that the runways were dominated by the color teal. You see pops of teal in shadow and liner with very subdued faces. If you are bold and love rocking trends then you are more likely to place teal all over the lid and dive into the fierlessness of a bold color. If you are a little more reserved and want to indulge then you can use teal liner on the top lid or lower lashline and for those of you who are still on the makeup training wheels...try a teal mascara. I am very Excited to report that Hourglass will be coming out with a new foundation. It is a beautiful full coverage stick that dries down to a natural matte. Your skin will look luminous, even and beyond perfect This product is unique because a little goes a long way and it sets so you don't need to worry about it coming off or having to touch up. You can definitely count on this prodcut blending out like a dream and covering every imperfection witout looking heavy. Something else worth noting is that the shape of teh actual foundaiton stick is unique because it has a triangular shap... If anyone is wondering if this shape would interfere with the applicaion the answer is NO! I feel as if the shape actually made applying the foundation easier because it really gets into all of the corners of your face. I wore this yesterday (my shade is golden tan) and it looked beautiful and flawless. I was only able to wear it for about 4-5 hours as we don't have the product in stock...I was able to put it on as part of the demonstration the brand made. This foundation has 28 shades to choose from and as you can see...there is a shade for just about any skin tone. I am totally excited for this to launch and I can confirm 100 percent that I will be purchasing this foundation ASAP!
SEPHORA COLLECTION Contour Inner Rim Gel Eyeliner
Working at Sephora has its perks...playing with makeup and discovering hidden gems are definitely a HUGE perk. These tiny liners are very pigmented, smooth and stay on better than many high end liners in the market. The only con I can think of is that the shades are limited to a perly white, lilac, teal, nude, black and brown. I would love for these to come in a larger shade range AND a larger package.

I appreciate the fact that these lil guys are compact enough to travel with and don't require you to sharpen them. The endcap of this liner will serve as a sharperner should you need it. I bought 4 out of the 6 shades and I have to say that my favorite is the lilac shade. They are all equally amazing at staying on and gliding on smoothly...I just love how beautiful the shade is and love the pop of color.

TOO FACED MELTED LIPSTICK IT'S HAPPENING
Looking for a bold, long wearng lipstick that will amp up your new summer tan? Look no more because I have your fix! Too Faced Melted lipsticks are amazing and they have definitley created a formula that is pigmented, smooth and super long wearing. The shade It's Happening is by far one of my favorite lipsticsk and it looks FANTABULOUS on any skin tone. While it can be difficult to get your hands on every color I recommend getting your hands on at least this shade as it can be worn year round.

Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Concealer
I think that one of the items I am always looking to upgrade is my concealer. For several years I was hooked on the MAC Prolongwear Concealer BUT it got to be too drying for me. I am naturally super dry around my eyes and finding the perfect concealer has been a bit of a challenge.

I have been using the NARS Creamy Concealer and I really enjoy it but if I, for whatever reason, am extra dry it looks cakey. While I have to be cautious when using it, it is still one of my top pick concealers.
​
When I saw that Smashbox had a new concealer I was curious because I know that they make amazing prodcuts. I immediately ordered it and I was impressed. The texture of the concealer felt gel like and it was very hydrating, set fast and had amazing coverage. Since the colors tend to run a little on the golden side I do have to use a corrector for under my eyes because after a few hours I will start to see a little bit of the grey peeking through. I looove this concealer and I find myself reaching for it on a daily basis. I highly recommend this concealer for my dryer ladies and mature ladies but really anyone can use it.
ABH FOUNDATION STICK
I wanted to share my experience with the ABH Foundation stick. I purchased 2 shades (Tan and Caramel). The actual foundation shades were amazing and I could not believe how accurate they were in terms of matching actual skin tones. The coverage was sheer medium and it was beildable. The over all texture was a bit dry but blended out smoothly.

I wore it for 2 days straight and typically I give myself more time to wear a foundaiton and really get a feel for it. In this case...it was an immediate decision...this foundation was not for me. I really wanted to love it but it did not wear well at all and large amounts of makeup were literally coming off. I posted a YT video (makeupstudioG) if you are curious to watch the way it wore. I immediately packed it up and sent it back.

My skin type is combination and this foundation is meant for an oily to combination skin type. It made me oilier than I am and wore off faster than any other foundation I have tried. I have a hard time believing that an oilier skin can wear it as it made me much oilier than I am.

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
Life changing...this powder is life...changing. What's soo amazing about it you ask? This powder gives you a matter finish and adds the tiniest amount of coverage. It's also packed with blurr technology that will not enhance texture, fine lines, and it's perfection for under the eyes! My under eye area is extremely dry and when I would set my concealer it would enhance the dryness and would make me look much older.

Did I mention that this poweder has nylon? Nylon will bond your makeup and if you are an oilier skin and after a few hours your skin starts to separate your foundation, applying this powder will pull your foundation back together and your makeup will look freshly applied.

TIPS:
-If you like to follow the rules...use the Laura Mercier powder puff. Press and roll people! Press and roll...
​
-If you prefer using a brush, use a flat brush (I like uisng MAC 133) and pat the powder under your eyes or do what I do...all over your face!
​
-DON'T dust this on your face with a large fluffy brush. You want to make sure that you are pressing the product on your face because that's what going to seal your makeup!
