BITE this...

Whaaaaat?? Bite Beauty came out with lip liners?? I was super excited when Bite started sharing sneak peaks of their new lip liners. Once again, Influenster came through and I am one of the fortunate people that get to try their new liners AND Bite was generous enough to send mini matching lipsticks AND a Sephora pencil sharpener! The colors I received were Shades 022 and 044. It was definitely a generous box!

The pencil is the same color as the rest of their products...it's a deep grey and it's smooth to the touch and looks very sleek. At one end you have the cap and at the opposite end you have a dot to demonstrate the color of the pencil. I do appreciate the detail behind the pencil because if you're like me and store your pencils top side down then having the color at the end of the pencil is helpful!

When you remove the cap the pencil looks like your standard pencil liner and in my inspection of the product I really thought to myself that they were very similar to MAC pencils. As I swatched the actual product I continued to think that they were very similar to MAC pencils and while I appreciate the color selection MAC offers...the pencils can be a bit dry. It was time to put the Bite pencils to the test!

The pencils were definitely not like MAC's pencils. I used the shade 002 and it glided on my lips effortlessly. The product was not dry at all and it was fantasticly pigmented. The formula is light weight and you don't detect it on the lips...it blends out as you apply it. I was happy to see that the pencil was not dry and that it was creamy and soft. The other exciting component to this amazing product is that it retails for $18 at Sephora AND they have 22 shades to play with!

Overall, these are a nice quality pencil and are very pigmented. Bite really developed a great product that lives up to the already amazing lip products in the line!
