YSL The Shock Mascara

I will start by saying that this mascara is not for everybody. If you love a dramatic lash you will love this. You have to like a thick and long lash as well as be comfortable with a thicker formula. This formula can come off as goopy but if you work fast enough with it you will be able to comb through it with the brush and disperse it evenly. I personally like a thick formula and dislike runny formulas that give you natural or spikey looking lashes. This mascara will also give you a nice curl that will hold through any weather. I love this mascara and I think that it does wonders for any lash. I will also say that this formula does have a fragrance...it does not bother me but if you're one of those people that are sensitve to smells then you will definitely have an issue with this. If you were a fan of the short lived YSL Vinyl mascara then you will know what I am talking about. I am personally ok with the scent but I don't know why a brand would choose to make their mascara scented...it just seems a little odd. Overall, this msacara has quickly become one of my favorite mascaras EVER and I highly recommend it if you like a bold lash and are looking for something that wears ALL day without smudging or crumpling under your eye. I don't think this mascara clumps or looks clumpy when applied...I think you get volume and length without the mascara looking cheap on your lash...I am sure you can build it up to look that way but it does not happen naturally.
