When I purchased this I was expecting a product that was buildable, blendable and glowy. This product is not very buildable and I would say that it's for someone with little to no imperfections. I do love the natural radiant finish you get but I would hardly say that this is a product that I would use as a sheer foundation or tint. This product is soo sheer that I would not even consider stating that it has light coverage as it offers almost no coverage. I have, however, used this product as a mixing medium for my foundations so that it adds luminosity or adds some warmth to a foundation that may be too neutral. Warning...this product runs slightly dark and has more red undertones. I wear St. Moritz in NARS and when I applied this to my skin it looked to be more or a medium red/orange undertone.

The texture of this product is described as a gel based mousse and that it is. I have applied this product with a sponge, brush and my hands. If you use a sponge or a brush you will find that your tool lifts this product and it does not spread it evenly. Your end result is blotchy, uneven, and you can see the texture of the sponge and the brush. Using your hands is the best way to apply this product but it does not give you the perfect result. You will still see that your hand lifts the product as you're blending it on your face. This formula is hydrating and natural looking and I feel that when you mix it with your favorite foundations it will change the consistency to a "wet" formula and can become a bit more difficult to blend.
There are only 4 shades to pick from and as mentioned earlier they tend to run more neutral than golden. The undertone is definitely more red based and can be used to deepen your current foundation shade. I was unsure of whether I should get medium or medium dark and I am definitely relieved that I purchased the medium because it's already a bit too dark for my complexion.

I am torn on how to review this product because once you get passed the difficulty of the texture it does look beautiful on the skin. This product will give you a natural radiance and just makes skin look luminous without being overly glowy. You can definitely mix this product with your foundation and it will not disrupt the longevity of your makeup. However, I will say that this would not be a product that I would run out and buy or repurchase. I like it enough to not return it but it's not a product I would recommend you purchasing. I think that their are other products you can purchase that will give you the same finish. I would recommend other products if you're looking for a sheer to light tint or base as this one offered less than minimal coverage.
