Holy mother of Glow!!!!! I am a huge fan of Melt Cosmetics and I was super excited when I saw that Melt Cosmetics was releasing highlighters. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of performance and formulation but I have to report...these girls killed it when they developed these highlighters.
Melt released three shades which are suitable for any skintone. I was a bit reluctant to purchase Nova because I felt that it would be too dark as a highlighter...I was right. As a highlighter it was a bit too dark BUT it looked amazing as a bronzer and an eyeshadow. I have actually found myself using Nova the most because it bumps your bronzer game up to a WHOLE new level. Stargazer is a beautiful champagne shade that would look fantastic on a lighter complexion BUT can also be worn on a medium skintone. Gold Ore is the perfect gold highlighter and while a lighter complexion can still pull it off it looks amazing on a medium skintone. I purchased all three shades and have no regrets. I have been able to use all three shades and they all look equally gorgeous on my medium tan skin.

The formula is stunning and very natural looking. It's a finely milled product that will not have kickback from digging into it with your brush. This product feels a bit tougher than most highlighters and that made me feel like the pay off would be impacted by the texture.
When I used this product I could see that it was applying on my cheekbones and it looked very natural. I decided to test it and see what the intensity would be if I built it up and and let me tell you that when using it dry you got a natural glow even after applying layer on top of layer. You could totally see the highlight but it was not powdery, detectable or textured on the skin. It gave me a beautiful highlight without looking unnatural.
The second test came in when I wanted to really get that blinding highlight and I used these wet. I picked up the product with my brush and then I sprayed it with MAC's Fix+. Instantly, I was able to see the glow the highlighter created and it was definitely intense. After the highlighter dried it was still blendable and I was able to layer it several times without it looking heavy or textured on my skin.
